About JustPetStrollers.com

JustPetStrollers.com
was founded in 2005. The site is an extension
of their Milwaukee store (Metropawlis)
and online e-commerce site (MetropawlisPetBoutique.com
On the first e-commerce site, we received a lot of interest
and questions about pet strollers, so we wanted to create a
new site that focused on these exciting, new products.
We were very pleased to be named the
Best Pet Store in Milwaukee by the readers of the Shepherd
Express in our first year of operation!
We believe that the ways in which we
relate to our pets is changing. Pets are more than mere
possessions--they are companions that add relaxation, comfort
and joy to our lives--and they deserve the best we can give
them!
We also believe that pet products need
not be boring or old-fashioned but can reflect the personal
style of the pet companion. As such, we hope you enjoy
our unique line of pet strollers that we have personally
selected for our online shop.
Inspiration can come
from some unlikely sources. The inspiration for
Metropawlis came from two abandoned Domestic Shorthairs and
a purebred Shiba Inu.
Sassy was abandoned and
being abused by neighborhood children when a friend took him
in off the street. The friend could not keep the pet
due to her children's asthma, so we agreed to adopt
Sassy. Sassy became a happy and mellow cat who didn't
miss living on the street, at all.
Unfortunately, we lost Sassy unexpectedly in January 2009;
he became ill and passed away peacefully in the arms of the
people he loved and who loved him.

Following our loss of Sassy, we were eager to provide a
caring home to another animal in need. Turtle joined
us in February 2009. He is a rare male tortoiseshell
cat--almost all tortoiseshell felines are female. He
was found by animal control and had been living at the
shelter for nine months when we brought him home. He
seems very happy and content to be part of the
JustPetStrollers.com family!

Friends of
JustPetStrollers.com adopted a fun and interesting Shiba Inu
named Taro. He is often mistaken for a fox when being
walked around Milwaukee's lower east side because of his
size and red coat.

These three animals
provide the inspiration for Metropawlis by demonstrating the
happiness, relaxation, and love a pet can provide.
